Felicia, Support Coordinator

My name is Felicia. I have a background in Aged Care and Mental Health. I like reading books or listening to audiobooks. I love doing cross-stitching as a mindfulness activity. It slows down time and relaxes me. It allows me to take a step back from a busy world. A quote that inspires me is “You never know how strong you are, until being strong is your only choice."

Heather, Support Coordinator

My name is Heather. I have an aged care background. I’m new to disability, and I find it very enjoyable. I am a big believer in mental health, and I would consider myself a silent advocate. I believe that no one should never judge anyone’s emotions and behaviours as you do not know what struggles they are going through.

I also work as a Pole Fitness instructor at my local pole and aerials centre. I enjoy spending time with my husband, kids, our chihuahua Juan-Julio and our cat Binx. I love listening to audio books, music, watching movies, and baking… Not going to lie, but I can make a mean sticky date pudding!!!
