The purpose of this email is to commend the exceptional work of Kylie Lloyd.
Kylie Lloyd has gone above and beyond to assist me in regards to my NDIS requirements. She has managed to get me organised with a hire scooter within a week, and I will be mobile within a fortnight. She has managed to do this, and going above and beyond, being a true professional to ensure her client is getting the best support possible. Kylie consistently checks on me to make sure I am OK, and whenever something happens, she goes above and beyond to ensure I have what I need to make my life easier and to ensure I have a more mobile and enjoyable lifestyle.
As an IT professional for over 32 years before my disabilities, I worked and had a coverage of 66% of the state, and until now, I thought I was the only person with this work ethic. I am proud to say this is no longer the case. I believe that Kylie deserves special recognition for her tireless work, as I believe that she deals with all her clients in the same fantastic and professional manner as myself.

Support coordination is an import part of an individual's NDIS plan. They are relying on communication to be paramount and in the case of my family friend I support who is a nonverbal person it is essential. Finding ways to organise her appointments therapies and reports ready for her review was certainly a challenge but with face to face contact and electronic diary she is now living more independently and really appreciates the time and effort Cindy and Carol at Southern Cross spend listening to her needs and making it happen.

I highly recommend Carol Davis as a support coordinator for my NDIS package. I have been an amputee for 18 months. I have had one previous coordinator but since switching to Southern Cross and Carol in particular my life has been made so much easier. Nothing is too much trouble for Carol. She readily and quickly responds to telephone calls or emails. My requests are dealt with in a timely manner. Carol is passionate about helping people such as myself with a personality that suits the position.

We have been involved with the NDIS since it began, but didn’t really have much idea of what a Support Co-ordinator did until I was lucky enough to meet Carol Davis at Southern Cross Support Services, earlier this year.
I met Carol as she was still setting up her office. That evening I sent her lots of my daughters’ information – profile, medical, therapy reports etc. Early the following morning, Carol emailed me with ideas, suggestions and a plan for moving forward. She had read it all and had even picked up some therapy recommendations that I had missed.
Even though she is very busy, nothing is ever too much trouble and she actions things efficiently and in a very timely manner. She is very professional.
Carol has taken such a burden off me, and I feel totally supported as we make decisions for our daughter to have the best life possible.
